Jack Bowers,
50, is editor of Fidelity
Monitor, a Rocklin, CA newsletter
with about 7,000 subscribers. He
also serves as chief investment
strategist of Weber Asset
Management, a money management
firm with approximately $350
million in assets under its
control. Bowers holds a bachelors
degree in Electrical Engineering
from Washington State University.
Bowers started
Fidelity Monitor in 1986, drawing on his
personal interest in investing and
desktop publishing, and his 11 years of
employment at Hewlett-Packard. "Back
then it was tough to get much information
on mutual funds." says Bowers.
"I set out to create a service that
would make it easy to win over the long
run."
Fidelity Monitor is the
top-performing Fidelity newsletter over
the last 20 years. During that time
Bowers has been credited with outstanding
performance by Money Magazine, U.S. News,
The New York Times, USA Today, and
Investors Business Daily. He has appeared
on the Forbes Newsletter Honor Roll
twice. |
